In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Peace and blessings be upon the noblest of prophets and messengers, our Prophet Muhammad, and upon his family and companions.
It is my pleasure to welcome you to the website of the College of Engineering at the University of Bisha. Established in 1435 AH (2014), the college has strived to enhance the university's mission of building a community based on excellence in engineering education, research, and the provision of innovative consulting services for the engineering sector. This is in line with our ambition to contribute effectively to the sustainable development of the Kingdom and its Vision 2030.
The College of Engineering at the University of Bisha comprises a variety of academic departments, including: the Department of Industrial Engineering, the Department of Mechanical Engineering, the Department of Civil Engineering, and the Department of Electrical Engineering, in addition to the Department of Architecture which was established in the academic year 1445/1446 AH, and the Renewable Energy Engineering program, part of the Department of Electrical Engineering. Since its establishment, the college has been committed to offering outstanding and up-to-date academic programs to ensure the qualification of national talents and the development of their skills in line with the evolving needs of both the local and global labor markets.
Despite its relatively recent establishment, the College of Engineering has achieved distinguished academic and scientific accomplishments, thanks to the unlimited support from our wise leadership under the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and His Royal Highness Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman - may Allah protect them both. The college has obtained full academic accreditation from the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) for all its programs, reflecting its commitment to providing engineering education that meets the highest global standards.
At the College of Engineering, University of Bisha, we believe that our role extends beyond graduating engineers; it also involves nurturing and developing their skills through an exceptional learning environment that integrates both theoretical and practical aspects. We provide advanced laboratories and workshops equipped with the latest technologies. Furthermore, the college ensures that its students are well connected to the practical field through cooperative training programs and scientific visits, preparing them adequately to engage in the engineering job market.
In the field of research and innovation, the college has achieved a significant presence at local, regional, and international levels through its production of scientific research, innovative contributions, and patent registrations. Notably, the college was the first within the University of Bisha to register a global patent with the American Research Center, under the number 9,446,973 dated 20/9/2016, demonstrating our commitment to continuous innovation and development.
